Katie loves to see others light up with confidence and inspiration! For Katie, practicing Kundalini Yoga helps her release tension, breakthrough mental blocks, and handle life’s demands. In 2012, Katie’s doctor recommended yoga to support her weakened nervous system. At first, Katie tried to mimic what other yogis were doing in class, but her body didn’t even know how to reach past her knees. Eventually she heard her body’s cues more clearly, strengthening her self-trust. Since then, Katie has received her 200-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Certification with Hari Kirin & Sahaj Kaur in MA. In addition to yoga, Katie studied Natural Cooking in Boulder, CO, and continued studying plant medicine with Sage Maurer in VT. Katie works as a Preschool Teacher, High-Prana Chef, and Creatrix. You’ll find her walking and singing through woods and waters or sipping a hot tea at Seafolk!
