Weekly Classes

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga is a relaxing, rejuvenating class that is perfect for beginners, individuals healing injuries, and experienced students wanting to slow down. It offers time and space for self-care and healing. Each class includes a blend of breathwork (pranayama) and hatha yoga poses (asanas). Alignment suggestions and modifications are provided. You will be encouraged to listen to your body and discover "your yoga" through compassion, acceptance, and letting go. This class is restorative and therapeutic, ending with a period of deep relaxation (savasana). Everyone is welcome.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a calming, meditative practice that is perfect for students of all levels. Each class begins with a centering meditation to connect with the body, breath, and mind. This inward focus is carried into the postures (asanas), all of which are done on the floor. You will explore forward and backbends, twists, and lateral stretches, holding each posture for 3-5 minutes. Yin is a practice of letting go into each pose, letting gravity and time do the work. Each class ends with a deep relaxation (savasana) to restore balance at all levels. Yin increases flexibility in the joints, detoxifies the body, and cultivates clarity in the mind. Everyone is welcome.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a relaxing and restful practice open to everyone, including beginners. The calming practice helps release tension and restore the nervous system. Props are used to support the body, and postures are held for five minutes or more. Stretching is passive and movement is minimal. Restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, gentle backbends, and inversions. The body learns to release and rest, making room for healing. Gentle breathwork and meditation contribute to the peaceful experience. This class is a perfect antidote to a stressful day or an active yoga practice. All are welcome. 

All Levels Yoga

All Levels Yoga is a grounding and inspiring class well-suited for everyone, beginners and beyond. It is a great way to unwind and reconnect. You will move through hatha yoga postures (asana) that strengthen and detoxify the physical body. Poses may include forward bends, backbends, twists, balancing postures, and inversions. Alignment cues, modifications, and variations will be provided. Breathwork (pranayama) will also be a focus, supporting you to deepen your practice. Each class ends with a period of deep relaxation (savasana). Come explore what works for you and advance your practice over time. All are welcome.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow is a heart-opening class offered at a moderate pace. Classes flow through an intelligent sequence of hatha yoga postures (asana) intended to build strength, flexibility, and awareness of body and breath. Poses and movements are synchronized with the breath (pranayama), creating a fluid, harmonious practice that cleanses and revitalizes the body at all levels. Variations are provided for new and advanced students. Each class ends with a period of relaxation (savasana) to allow for deep rest and integration of the practice. Everyone is welcome. Previous yoga experience is helpful but not required. Come flow with us!

Vigorous Vinyasa

Vigorous Vinyasa is a dynamic and invigorating class that is perfect for experienced yoga students. The class is a powerful, flowing journey of movement. The breath is focused and deep as you tap into your life force (prana) and flow through a powerful sequence of forward bends, backbends, twists, and lateral poses (asanas). You will also hold postures, creating a challenge for the body and mind. Vigorous Vinyasa will bring you to your personal edge. Can you meet yourself with strength, grace, and an open heart? The class ends with relaxation (savanasa) to rest and integrate body, mind, and spirit. Previous yoga experience is very helpful.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is the Yoga of Awareness as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Everyone can do it. This ancient technology brings balance to mind, body, and soul. Through breathwork, mudra, eye focus, mantra, body locks, and postures, you experience your essence, your life force, your creative power. You wake up to feel 100% of your possibilities and live in excellence. The practice precisely and consciously balances the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, expands lung capacity, and purifies the blood. The technology is direct and inclusive. All are welcome.

Community Yoga

Come one, come all. Bring a friend or two to join if you'd like. Together, we'll share the healing energy of yoga, nourishing ourselves and our greater community. You may be surprised at the rewards your mind, body, and soul will experience. We look forward to sharing yoga with you in this beautiful space! All levels, all body types, all ages -- anyone who wants to feel better and have more clarity of mind -- join us! Let's have fun, and celebrate yoga. By donation: suggested $5-10. 

Men's Yoga "Broga"

Whether you’re a barista or a cop, gentleman or caveman, skinny or robust, gay or straight, fisherman or artist ... Men's Yoga "Broga" is for you. The class moves at a moderate pace through a sequence of poses designed specifically for men. You will build strength, flexibility, and increased awareness. You will sweat. You will learn how your breathing can be your ally. At times, you will meet your edge; at other times, you will flow so smoothly that you will feel like you have done it all your life. Come to get a workout, to meet other men, to have fun in a bright, musical class (think Springsteen, Queen, and Dylan), and to see how long you can hold downward dog before coming to your knees!

Prenatal Yoga

Pregnancy is a time of tremendous growth and change, both physically and emotionally. It is a time to nourish yourself and your growing baby. Join us for prenatal yoga to cultivate the breath, stamina, and courage in preparation for birth. Each class will integrate breathing techniques, warm-ups, core strengthening postures, relaxation, and meditation. The practice will meet you wherever you are in your pregnancy journey. You will enjoy the many benefits including stress relief, reduced nausea, reduced inflammation, increased stamina and strength, as well as increased bonding and compassion. This class is a wonderful opportuntiy to gather with other pregnant women and share your joys and concerns. It is a time for essential self-care. Hope to see you there!
 

Nia Dance

Nia is a dance class for everyone. The practice emphasizes the joy of movement. You will sweat. You will laugh. You will breathe deeply. Expect easy-to-follow choreography as well as free dance, with elements of martial arts and wellness techniques. Each class ends with mindfulness and meditation, leaving you lighter and prepared to step back into your life. Everyone is welcome! No experience necessary.

Open Meditation

Every Thursday, 4-5 p.m. and every Sunday, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Open Meditation is an opportunity to practice with a group in a relaxed and friendly environment. Everyone is welcome, including beginners and experienced practitioners. All meditation traditions are honored. Each session includes twenty-five minutes of seated meditation, followed by five minutes of walking meditation, and closing with twenty-five minutes of seated meditation. There is a timekeeper but no instruction. Refuge Recovery

Every Sunday & Wednesday, 6-7:30 p.m. Refuge Recovery is a peer-based group of non-professionals dedicated to helping each other recover from the suffering of addiction. Through the Buddhist practices of meditation, generosity, kindness, and renunciation, participants explore the causes of addiction and empower themselves to be free of suffering. Each meeting includes a period of meditation, readings from various Buddhist teachers, and open discussion. All are welcome regardless of religious beliefs (or non-beliefs) and no prior knowledge of meditation is required. By donation: suggested $5-10.
