Getting older brings many gifts - wisdom, experience, perspective. Getting older can also bring challenges. Yoga for Seniors is designed to meet you where you are and provide support for the physical and spiritual challenges you may be facing. Classes include gentle yoga postures, restorative poses, meditation, and relaxation. The practices are specifically designed to help improve balance, flexibility, and respiratory function, as well as promote mindfulness and ease. Chairs will be available to provide support as needed. At the end of class, everyone is welcome to enjoy one another’s company over a cup of tea.
Level: Men and women, ages 55 years and older; no yoga experience necessary.
