This Spring, join an inspiring, supportive, and warm-hearted circle of women for weekly practice and friendship. Tap into your innate creativity and let the energy of the season flow through you!
The upcoming circle will take us into the heart of Svadisthana Chakra, the home of Creativity and Self-Expression. What is your relationship to creative flow at this time in your life? What emotions and desires are alive in you right now? The second chakra, located in the sacral region, is represented by the bold color orange and the flowing element of water. When the sacral chakra is balanced, we feel patient, positive, and expressive. Our life is fluid and colorful, and we feel nourished. When the energy center is unbalanced, our emotions are rigid, and we may experience feelings of guilt.
In this class series, we will practice breath work, yoga postures, mantra, mudra, and meditation to balance and strengthen Svadisthana Chakra. We will work with the energies of water, flow, sensuality, and change (perfect for the Spring season!), as well as explore the shadow emotion of guilt. Classes include time for practice, sharing, self-reflection, and creative expression through art, movement, and writing.
Each week, there will be an invitation for an "off the mat" exploration to bring the yoga practice into daily life. Experiential exercises will include: setting up an altar, creating new movement routines, compassionately assessing your relationship with change, exploring your emotions and desires, and spending time near or in water. All of these themes are outward manifestations of Svadisthana Chakra!
The Women's Yoga Circle is friendly, loving, and supportive. Our work together is transformative and empowering. All feelings, emotions, and experiences are welcome.
