Calling Midcoast women of all ages! As we turn the corner from winter to spring, join a sacred circle of women for a heart-warming journey into Acceptance. Together, we will practice Kundalini Yoga, the yoga of awareness as taught by Yoga Bhajan. It is an inspiring and nourishing technology that balances the mental, physical, and nervous energies in the body.
Over the course of seven weeks, we will awaken and strengthen the Muladhara (Root) Chakra. The Root Chakra is our ground, our stability, our connection to our instinctual Self. It is here where we learn to Accept ourselves fully. As Gurmukh so beautifully states, “If we are balanced in this part of the body, we feel at home in our skin, we feel cozy and secure and that it’s okay for us to exist on the most basic level.” During each class, we will practice breathwork, kriyas (physical exercises), mudra, mantra, and meditation to balance Muladhara Chakra.
The circle provides a wonderful space for sharing, growth, and friendship. The atmosphere is open-hearted and joyful. Hope to see you there!
