with Rachel Nixon & Robin Lane
Thursday, March 19, 5:30-7 p.m.
Spring is a time of renewal and growth. Join us for an inspiring evening of gentle yoga, meditation, and the nourishing sounds of live cello. The class will open with a centering meditation and breathwork. The cello will guide us into gentle yoga sequences to awaken the spine and strengthen the body, mind, and spirit at all levels. The evening will close with a quiet period of calming yoga poses and deep relaxation. Come as you are, and celebrate the coming of Spring!
Everyone is welcome.
Preregistration is not required. Come 5-10 minutes early.
Suggested donation: $15-30 sliding scale or pay-what-you can.
Robin Lane performs classical, jazz, and contemporary works throughout Maine. He records, engineers, and produces his own music, along with the music of a growing number of local musicians, out of his home studio in Rockland. Robin’s music provokes conscious thought, bringing peace to the minds of the individual, society, and the environment in which we live. As Operations Manager at Midcoast Music Academy, he supports young musicians and encourages music education in the community.
Note: The Dancing Elephant is by donation so that everyone can participate. Donations in any amount are graciously appreciated.
