Restorative Yoga is a relaxing and restful practice open to everyone, including beginners. The calming practice helps release tension and restore the nervous system. Props are used to support the body, and postures are held for five minutes or more. Stretching is passive and movement is minimal. Restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, gentle backbends, and inversions. The body learns to release and rest, making room for healing.
