Our Dharma Talk Series continues via Zoom. The evening includes meditation, a talk, discussion, and time for sharing.
How is caring for myself the same or different than caring for others? How can I find balance and have internal boundaries? What is maitri? Join Nick Kranz for a heart-warming evening of wisdom, practice, and sharing.
For those of us who have been conditioned in modern, individualist cultures, self-compassion and loving-kindness (maitri) are essential. Practicing self-care and learning to heal the inner critic allows us to be more effective in expressing love and compassion for all. Also, learning to love ourselves just feels really good. The evening will include a presentation with meditation and discussion. Together, we will explore how to set internal boundaries as a way of modeling the care that includes self and other.
This offering is part of the year-long program, Making Friends with Ourselves & Our World, January-December, 2021.
Everyone is welcome.
