Community Circle: Pandemic as Spiritual Teacher

with Rachel Nixon & Karen Mack
Sunday, January 31, 5:30-7 p.m.
Via Zoom… email Rachel at [email protected] to sign up. The link will be sent out at 5 p.m. on the day of the event to those who have preregistered. Thank you!
We hope you can join us for our first Community Circle in 2021. We offer the Circle as space for being together in the present moment. For listening deeply to ourselves and each other. For exploring what it feels like to be human in these times. For being curious and open in community. The Circle is the first in a series of monthly offerings.
"The pandemic brings us right to the razor’s edge of this precious present moment. No past. No future. Just what is here now. The coronavirus has the potential to kill millions worldwide. The virus also has the potential of being a spiritual initiator for humanity.” – Joanna Macy & Jonathan Gustin
What has the pandemic meant to you in your life? In what ways do you experience the pandemic as a spiritual teacher or initiator? Join us as we reflect on the impacts of the coronavirus, personally and collectively, through stories, musings, and anecdotes. We will consider questions such as: What are the blessings and the challenges of the pandemic? How might this global crisis be a catalyst for personal and societal transformation?
The evening will include: welcome,  mindfulness practice, introductions, co-creating of guidelines, speaking/listening together in the circle, and closing. The space will be held with deep respect for all feelings, viewpoints, and ideas.
We hope you can join us as we explore, reflect, and find solace together.
Please preregister to receive Zoom link. Email Rachel at [email protected] to sign up. The link will be sent out at 5 p.m. on the day of the event.
Everyone is welcome.
