Chair Yoga

This winter, join us for a six-week series of Chair Yoga, a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. Classes begin with a quiet meditation and warm-up movements, followed by a series of gentle postures and balance poses. Chair Yoga aims to increase strength and flexibility, develop ease and fullness of breath, and promote body awareness and self-compassion. The class ends with a guided meditation for peace of mind.

Level: Everyone is welcome. This class is specifically designed for folks who have difficulty getting up and down from the floor, as well as those who would like to learn yoga poses and practices to bring back to the office or daily life.
