General Guidelines

COVID-19 Health Protocols
We are committed to providing safe and healthy practice spaces for everyone. Thank you for your thoughtful attention to these protocols. Please email Rachel at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.
Our commitment to you
  • In-person spaces are limited to 6 students to ensure a minimum of six feet between yoga mats.
  • We run a HEPA air filter (rated for 465 square feet) during all classes.
  • We open the windows during class to maximize fresh air flow.
  • We do not lead chanting in the classes, including OM.
  • We sanitize the studio, bathroom, and frequently touched surfaces, such as door knobs and handrails, per COVID-19 protocols.
Preparing for class
  • Please fill out the COVID-19 Survey before you leave home. Click here. Please do not come to the studio if you are not feeling well or have any COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Please use the bathroom before you leave home.
  • Bring a face mask with you to be worn at all times in the building.
  • Bring your own yoga mat, props, a water bottle, etc. The studio cannot loan out mats at this time.

Arrival, class time, and departure

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes early.
  • Please wear a face mask. 
  • Please answer the COVID-19 Survey questions before class (if not submitted online). 
  • Sanitize your hands upon entry.
  • Please leave your shoes in the hallway.
  • Enter the studio and roll out your mat in one of the designated spaces.
  • The teacher will record your attendance and use of your class pass, if appropriate.
  • Please wear your mask during class.
  • Enjoy your practice!
  • At the end of class, please roll up your mat, and leave the studio with generous spacing between the other students. If you'd like to visit with friends, please do so outside the building.
  • The large bathroom is available before, during, and after class (we do encourage you to use the bathroom before you leave home).
  • If you use the bathroom at the studio, please follow the sanitizing instructions. Thank you for your help.
  • The small bathroom is closed to yoga students.

  • Please use the bathroom before you leave home.
  • Bring a face mask with you (to be worn before and after class, at a minimum).
  • Bring your own yoga mat, meditation cushion, props, a water bottle, etc.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early.
  • You will be greeted by the teacher at the outdoor location. You will be asked to answer the COVID-19 Survey before class (if not submitted online).
  • Please set up your practice space at least 6 feet apart from other students. You have the option of taking off your face mask during the program.
  • Enjoy your class in the great outdoors!
  • Kindly wear your face mask after class if you stay to visit.
Other helpful tips
  • Avoid eating 1 hour before class.
  • Wear comfortable layers that are easy to move in.
  • Please refrain from fragrant oils, perfumes, or lotions so that the studio air is clear.
  • For yoga classes, please bring your own mat.
  • Cell phone free studio! Please leave phones in your car or your belongings outside the studio.
  • Bring a water bottle. 
  • Arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of class. This gives you time to sign in, take off your shoes and socks, use the bathroom, roll out your mat, and settle in
  • Take time to visit with new and old friends before and after class, but please be mindful that some students arrive and seek quiet space before class.
  • Talk with your teacher before class if you have health concerns, injuries, or if you are pregnant. Always get cleared by a doctor before starting a practice.
  • Classes begin and end on time. Thank you for your courtesy.
  • Most yoga classes include chanting. If you feel comfortable joining in, please do. You are also welcome to listen.
  • Please use quiet voices in the stairwell and hallways. There are other wellness practitioners offering massage and counseling services on the second floor. Thank you.
