- The Dancing Elephant is located in downtown Rockland, Maine, which was settled on the traditional territory of the Penobscot Nation, part of the Wabanaki Confederacy. We honor the Penobscot people who have stewarded these lands and waterways for thousands of years, and we affirm their inherent sovereignty in this region. Learn more.
- We honor the ancient roots of yoga and meditation. We bow to the culture and traditions of India and to all South Asian teachers, past and present, who have created and nurtured these spiritual teachings that we practice today.
